Heavy weldments and assembly
We produce heavy weldments including subsequent surface treatment and assembly for leading European manufacturers of trucks, handling, construction, agricultural, forestry and municipal equipment.
We provide our customers with:
- Design inputs for production optimization and prototyping
- Our workforce provides for the production of primary operations – laser, bending, edging
- Mass production of weldments and welded groups using advanced welding methods:
- MAG/MIG, preheating, resistance, spot and laser welding
- MAG - welding robotic workstation : YASKAWA, PANASONIC
- Welding performed by 140 ISO 9606-certified welders
- Subsequent assembly of welded or machined subassemblies with the possibility of surface finishing (KTL, powder and wet painting)
- CNC machining – up to a maximum length of 6 m
- Within the scope of comprehensive deliveries of welded components, we are able to offer the customer the stamping of input parts up to a material thickness of 8 mm.
Weldment parameters:
- Weldment weight 3 – 1.500 kg/piece, maximum length up to 12 m
- HRC grades: S235, S355 MC - S700 MC, DD 12-14, wear resistant
- CRC levels – DC03-DC06
- Material thickness: 1-50 mm
We also produce deep-drawn blanks:
Heavy duty / heavy wall deep-drawn sheet metal parts mainly for material handling are a strategic competitive advantage for Tawesco. On our hydraulic press 2000 t we can automatically process sheet metal with a thickness of up to 6 mm, max. drawing depth 350 mm.
